Le grain du temps

Dans cette pièce, je me suis intéressé à la combinaison métrique, en particulier, aux multi- et poly-métriques. Influencé par Paul Creston, un compositeur américain qui a écrit un traité sur le rythme, j'ai réfléchi au geste musical dans ce domaine, principalement afin de chercher des figures appropriées à un grand effectif. D'un autre côté, j'ai également utilisé la notion de grain, empruntée à la musique électroacoustique, où l'on utilise ce terme pour indiquer des particules de sons en mouvement. Cela m'intéressant depuis longtemps, je suis parti, dans cette partition, de cette notion pour concrétiser mon intérêt pour la musique gestuelle.

In this piece, I have researched on the combination of meters, particularly on the multi or poly meters. Influenced by Paul Creston, the american composer who wrote a book for rhythm trait, I have considered the musical gesture in this domain, mainly for the search of appropriate figures for the grand ensemble. And the other side, the notion of grain which I leaned at the electro acoustic music where we use this term to indicate the particle of sounds moving, It has affect me long time and I started from this sense to realize my interest for the gestural music in this partition.
