L'une des prémisses au moment de travailler point de fusion a été d'aller à l'extrême de ma manière habituelle d'écrire et aussi de la manière de concevoir la structure de mes pièces. En “fusion point” je transforme le même matériel de manières différentes, pendant toute la pièce j'essaie de faire coïncider les transformations en la concevant dans un schéma formel homogène. Le discours musical se ressemble aux couleurs d'un kaléidoscope et dans chaque moment de climax (paroxysme) il y a pour moi une sorte de changement de l'ordre des couleurs, un changement dans l'ordre où prédominent les transformations du matériel.

When I started working on «Fusion point» one of my premises was to go to the extreme of my usual way of writing but also of the way I would structure my pieces. In “Fusion point” I keep the same material and transform it in various ways, and as the piece goes on, I try to make the transformations coincide by developing then in a homogeneous formal pattern. The musical discourse resembles the colours of a kaleidoscope and, to me, each moment reaching its climax (paroxysm) is like changing somehow the order of colours, changing the order in which material transformation prevails.
