« Analysing the process in musical creation » is a four-chapter web documentary written and directed by François-Xavier Féron and Benoît Martin as part of the MuTeC project (Musicology of contemporary composition techniques, 2009-2012) funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and coordinated by Nicolas Donin (Ircam, team Analyse des Pratiques Musicales).
Chapter 3 focuses on the MuTeC project: its genesis, its objectives, its different fields of study and some of its key findings.
