Chartwell Dutiro is a musician, singer-songwriter, composer and teacher, the founding Artistic Director of Mhararano Mbira Academy, Dartington, and Visiting Research Fellow at Bath Spa University. He holds a Masters in Ethnomusicology from SOAS, University of London, and is a WOMAD Foundation recommended artist.
