In this talk I will present my recent developments for the integration of spatial sound synthesis in computer-aided composition, carried out in collaboration with the Music Representation team at Ircam. More precisely, I will discuss 3 libraries for the computer-aided composition environment OpenMusic: OMPrisma (for spatial sound synthesis), OM-SoX (for multichannel sound processing), and OM-Pursuit (for dictionary-based sound modelling). After introducing the libraries and their respective functionalities, I will demonstrate how they can be used in combination, forming a high-level framework for spatial sound composition.
