This demonstration gives an overview of recent developments in the standalone corpus-based concatenative sound synthesis program AudioGuide. New features and methods include revamped hierarchal sound segment matching routines and polyphonic support via target sound signal decomposition. This talk also covers new ways of integrating AudioGuide’s output into different musical workflows, including new Max patches for manipulating concatenated outputs, including bach.roll support for sound concatenations and descriptor data, and a new interface in AudioGuide which permits the creation of acoustic scores.
