Audio Setup for Ircam Espace de Projection

Loudspeaker setup
Software installation
Two computers are required : one for the score following (using the gfx gesture follower object) and event triggerring, the other to play sound files, sound transformation and spatialisation processes.
Both runs MaxMsp version 5.1.8
On the Score follower Macintosh: DSP status should be :
- IOVector Size 2048,
- signal Vector Size 64,
- overdrive on,
- scheduler in audio interrupt
Files Preferences should be:
/lamuette-msp/
On the DSP Macintosh, DSP status should be :
- IOVector Size 512,
- signal Vector Size 64,
- overdrive off,
- scheduler not in audio interrupt
Files Preferences should be:
/lamuette-msp/lib
Initialization routine
On the Score follower Macintosh:
- open VoiceOrchestraFollower-24.v03.maxpat
- choose the vox24smooth item in the top-right menu
- press "readall" and choose the lamuette-24g.mubu file in the Followers/gestureData/Sections folder
- Start the dacs (DSP on)
- Adjust the OSC host address in the subpatcher "p OSC" to be the IP adress of the other macintosh, in order to be able to send the cues thru a udp connexion.
On the DSP Macintosh :
- open laMuettte20.maxpat
- choose the init item in the top-left menu
- Start the dacs (DSP on)
- Test the UDP connexion from the other computer
- Test the Spat
- Test the Midi Mixer
