DM 2000 Patch
Amplification is required for all the singers, piano, strings and percussions.
There are Real-Time transformations on some instruments, the following microphones should be routed to the ADC :
Concert setup for Palais de la Musique et des Congrès (Strasbourg/Musica)
Two master keyboard for one instrumentalist on stage.
The first keyboard ("A") triggers events (soundfiles and real time effect) and should be linked to max msp via a booster and a doubler (for the spare to get also the midi). Keyboard A is connected to the Macintosh (through the audio interface midi Port).
The second (lower, "B") connected directly to a AKAÏ Z8 sampler. A folder called 'sampler' contains programs that will set it up before the concert. The AkSys software is required to send the programs to the sampler. This keyboard should have :
The Z8 sampler contains 6 multis, the selection is done by program changes sent by keyboard B.
Open Sirenes_Francesconi_Beller_V2.5b-2012.maxpat with maxMsp 5.1
Press Init
Check the DSP status
Press "preload sounds"
Choose the midi port from the audio interface and check that the patch is receiving midi notes from keyboard A
Choose the midi port for the midi mixer and check it.
Each event (soundfiles and/or treatments) are triggered by a specific note on keyboard A. (cf midikeyboard patch).
The lowest C stops all the events.
The mixing level can be controlled during the performance on the BCF 2000.
The BCF 2000 midimixer sliders are affected as follow:
The Akai sampler can be replaced by a software solution.
Start sirenes-samplor-mono.v1.maxpat with max6.1.
NB : Max File preferences should point to :
This max patch uses the samplor~ object to emulate the hardware sampler.
