Kapuscinski’s artistic premise is to compose structurally intergrated intermedia works, in which sounds and images are given equal importance and are developed either simultaneously or in constant awareness of each other. In performance he controls projections of video, sound and computer-generated graphics by playing the piano (Disklavier+Max/MSP/Jitter). His particular interest lies in composing free and abstract narratives that emerge between aural and visual layers. At the heart of this approach lies the concept of metaphor and interplay of structural and semantic errors.
