On the occasion of the 2026 edition of the Festival Présences at Radio France.
Luna Park, created by Georges Aperghis in 2011 at IRCAM, marked a turning point in his integration of voice, gesture, and electronics. Fusing musical theater with advanced technology, this seminal piece reflects the composer’s commitment to experimentation and inquiry. Electronics amplify and multiply the voices, adding new layers of meaning and perception. At IRCAM, Luna Park becomes a sound laboratory where musical theater and technology intersect.
