You have no idea what a voice can do! January’s Fictions-Science is dedicated to the manipulation of the voice. The voice that we identify as an individual’s own has become a favorite object of artificial intelligence. Communication and expressiveness, affect and health, cloning and deepfake, a voice can be transformed, metamorphosed, simulated through deep learning technologies. Tonight’s guests discuss the advances and the ethical and anthropological consequences of the manipulated voice.
